Jonathan Eastman offers his expertise as Gamesmaster to train camp counselors, teachers and coaches, after care personnel, and other childcare facilitators in the approaches, techniques, and many of the games, as well as source material to expand their learning and repertoire. From their staff of over 200 participants in a rotation of 8 assorted trainings in 2004, his sessions received the highest number of ‘Excellent’ ratings in the YMCA of Greater Miami Summer Camp Training Evaluation Summary.
His blend of competitive and cooperative games enhance the learning, social environment, and motivating fun experienced by participants. Some games need no props. For those that do, most of the props are everyday, easily acquired materials. Your staff will not only learn a variety of new games and challenges to use with children, but they will build greater working relationships and cohesion from this experiential cooperative games training.
Jonathan brings together his decades of experience as a party entertainer and character performerwith extensive training in brain development and family therapy.
He understands individual developmental capabilities, social dynamics, as well as the motivation and spontaneous possibilities of play.
Please contact him to discuss planning a training session for your staff, or Gamesmaster events for your students.
